The Sporting Life

“The Sporting Life”is a weekly sports show on 103.2 Dublin City FM, hosted by Andrew Farrell, Wayne Metcalfe and James Glynn. Rugby, boxing, cricket, horse racing and Irish American Football all feature, and our extensive Olympic coverage brought live interviews each week from Beijing with some of Ireland’s top competitors. Throughout October 2008 we’ll have in-depth coverage of Ireland’s rugby league world cup challenge from Australia.

The radio programme will soon be linked to this blog site, and the new pod-cast which will be available shortly. The remainder of 2008 will see more interviews as the Irish domestic and international cricket season draws to a close; the AIL, Heineken Cup and Autumn Internationals approach ever closer; and more ringside action as the professional boxing boom on this island continues to gather pace. All this, and plenty more, will be available every Thursday on 103.2 Dublin City FM from 19:00 and www.thesportinglife.wordpress.com. Stay tuned.
